Infant Baptism Preparation: Masterclass
It's time to re-think Baptism Preparation. Here’s the field manual to help you design your baptism preparation to meet the needs and opportunities of your local context.
We are delighted to have our next Masterclass webinar on the topic of Infant Baptism Preparation. We will be joined by Dr. Petroc Willey, Dr. William J. Keimig, and Jacqueline and Michael van Hemert on Tuesday 7th October at 7:30pm.
Together with an international team of leading catechetical experts, field practitioners, and diocesan leaders, the Catechetical Institute have published a comprehensive field manual called Infant Baptism Preparation. It promises to be an invaluable resource for all catechetical leaders entrusted with forming others in the faith.
This Masterclass will be an invitation to prayerfully re-think how you prepare families for their child's Baptism. We will explore how the Infant Baptism Preparation resource provides a faithful, practical, prayerful, step-by-step, and accessible approach for you, as a catechetical leader. We will also look at how this resource can help you to accompany the whole family to Jesus Christ and to the true beginning of new life with him.
You can find out more about this resource here https://store.franciscanathome.com/products/baptism
This webinar will benefit parents, grandparents, priests, catechists and anyone involved or interested in baptism preparation.
Tickets for this online webinar cost £5. Once you have registered you will receive the Zoom Webinar link in your confirmation email. Please share this webinar with your friends, family members, parish and parishioners.
What is the Catechetical Institute?
The Catechetical Institute (CI) is a large-scale international outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville for ministry formation. CI was formally organized in 2015 and publicly launched in 2017 to serve Christ and his Church by forming those entrusted with the formation of others in any situation and ministry role — priests, deacons, religious, parents, parish and school leaders, teachers, catechists, and teams, whether professional or volunteer, from homes to diocesan hierarchies.
