JOBS: Departmental Administrator and Course Administrator
We are advertising for two roles: Course Administrator and Departmental Administrator (both 22.5hours per week) to join our well-respected and vibrant team. Interviews early-September 2025.
The Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis (AEC) has developed a strong reputation for effective and creative support for parishes in terms of Evangelisation, Catechesis, and Formation. This is chiefly expressed in the Some Definite Service approach to parish growth.
The persons appointed to these posts will be expected to help in the development of the SDS approach and contribute to the work of the Agency in specific ways. They will need to have regard to the teachings of the Catholic Church and the mission of the Archdiocese, and not do anything in any way detrimental or prejudicial to its interests or to the Catholic Church. Departmental Administrator
22.5 hours per week (4.5 hours per day) in our London office (SE1).
The Departmental Administrator will have specific responsibility for:
Performing the financial functions of the Agency;
Assisting with the planning, administration and delivery of Agency events;
Providing hospitality to event attendees and guests of the Agency;
Coordinating Agency parish visits;Building a repository of resources (physical and digital) shared via the inspire knowledge base website;
Maintaining the Agency website and newsletter;
Acting as the initial point of contact;
Administrative tasks such as printing, and postage of physical resources such as books.

Course Administrator
22.5 hours per week (3-days per week) flexible location.
The Course Administrator will have specific responsibility for:
Administering the long-format courses offered by the Agency (CCRS) and (ArchCert);
Being an initial point of contact for students;
Maintaining online platforms for long and short format courses;
Providing support to tutors, particularly with online courses;
Coordinating the Agency’s contribution to the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion;
Liaising with clergy and RCIA catechists;
Executing other administrative duties as directed by the Director.
