In the opening address, Archbishop John Wilson invited us to ask ourselves how deeply we truly believe in the converting power of the Eucharist. By sharing the story of Dr Takashi Nagai's conversion, he proved that encountering Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament has the power to transform even the most doubtful hearts. We were invited to leave this day as bold Eucharistic evangelisers, confidently praying that those we catechise will experience the same life-changing love of the Eucharist.
