The Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis is delighted to be able to host this webpage for the Baptism Collaborative, a national group of catechists and clergy interested in highlighting the importance and transformative power of baptism.

Join the Collaborative

Join a group of people from across the country who are passionate about reawakening a baptismal imagination; reimagining how we speak about baptism and how we accompany families in building the domestic church.

Previous Conference

Reimagining Baptism took place at St George’s Cathedral on 9 & 10 May 2025. Over 120 priests, deacons and catechists took part in discussions about baptismal preparation and the baptismal mindset.

Blessed Columba Marmion

Patron of the Collaborative, Blessed Columba Marmion wrote and spoke often of the need to understand our dignity of being Children of God. St John Paul II asked for a ‘widespread rediscovery’ of his writings in 2000.
